Volunteer Day
YEAH FOR SATURDAYS!
Saturday Volunteer Day is a great time to earn points towards time in the shop or parts. Tasks include keeping the shop and trailers in order or wrenching on bikes to sell. We are here from 12-4 and snacks are often included. All ages welcome!
TASKS
- Organize bins of parts in trailer 69
- Clean and de-rust bikes in trailer Go-Go-Gadget-Legs
- Teach someone how to fix one of RAB’s bikes! Safe bike can be sold in order fund other needs for our program.
- Check bikes to make sure they are safe
- Inventory bikes and label their issues to help other volunteers find bikes to work on
- Rehang posters in shop
- Make a poster about bike maintenance, shop rules, bike riding in Providence
- Sweep
- Check used tubes for holes
- Organize shelves so everyone can better find what they need
- Discuss improvements about the general programs
- Get to know other volunteers!
