About Us

RAB gets bikes out of the garbage and back on the streets. We provide people access to used bikes, parts and tools, and create spaces for them to learn the skills to build and maintain their own bikes. We support bike riding as an affordable, healthy, and environmentally conscious way of getting around.

  • Recycle-a-Bike / Steel Yard BBQ Thu. 9/4, 6-8 PM at The Steel Yard. Celebrating our one-year trial partnership and welcoming our new VISTA, Maggie Burrus-Granger. more info
  • Mechanics A Go-Go (free bike repair Sunday sessions) extended to noon to 4 PM
  • Fall classes at The Steel Yard now posted online
  • Saturday Open Shop is shut down during our moving process. We plan to re-establish it once we get ourselves into our new home on The Steel Yard (roughly spring 2009).
