www.sheldonbrown.com The most in-depth (and sometimes hard to use) bike resource on the net. It's basically an online bicyclopedia and a collection of articles.

www.peterwhitecycles.com Has some good articles on proper bicycle fit and wheel building.

www.bikeforums.net Very active forum with tons of user-submitted information and reviews broken into topics of triathlon, track cycling, living car-free, and lots more.

www.bikecollectives.org A national and (kind of) international listing of community-based bike programs like us, plus resources for people running such a program. Their annual conference, BikeBike!, is the definitive gathering of said programs around the country (plus a few from outside the country).

www.transalt.org - Tools for Life A great free how-to guide for starting or growing a youth bike recycling program such as ours.

www.jimlangley.net Jim Langley is  the author of several books and articles in "bicycling magazine" on bicycling and bicycle maintenance. His web page has some good articles.

www.bluecollarmtb.com Haven't used this site too much, but seems to have a lot of great solutions for folks on a bike-budget, lots of DIY projects.

www.mtbr.com Looking to buy parts?  Read reviews there. That's a start! They have indexed consumer reviews of most MTB parts available s well as classified ads.

www.roadbikereview.com the on-road cousin to MTBR.com has consumer reviews and classifieds for road bikes and road parts.

www.qbike.com and www.bestbikebuys.com These are good bicycle web retail search engines that search several popular web retailers and sort items by price. Great if you are looking to buy bike parts online or comparison shop.

www.ediscountbike.com A pretty good bicycle closeout/discounter site. The inventory is limited and always changing, but they have lots of deals on new closeout and discontinued stuff.

www.antbikemike.com MA based custom bike builder specializing in commuting/work bikes and custom racks. A.N.T. Altentative Needs Transportation.

www.thesteelyard.org Our gracious host organization. Check their website for news on future bicycle maintenance classes, welding and other metal working classes, and open studios. They also have all kinds of classes in glass, ceramics, jewelry, blacksmithing and just about everything under the sun.

Then there's always craigslist  and  Ebay to buy/sell/trade bike stuff. Craigslist is also a great place to find listings for local bicycle events (swap meets, group rides, races).
